Are you a complete sewing newbie?

Are you looking to make sense of how to use a sewing machine, or try a starter session before committing to a longer, more comprehensive course such as our Complete Beginners Sewing Course or Beginners Sewing 2?

Then this class is for you!

This 2 .5 hours workshop will teach you all you need to know about using and making the most of a sewing machine, and you will make a handy drawstring bag using your new skills.

All materials will be provided. Just bring yourself and be prepared to have a lovely time!

What you will learn:

• How to set up and thread a sewing machine
• How to wind a bobbin
• How to set the correct tension
• How to troubleshoot common problems
• How to sew perfectly straight seams and how to finish them

*The class will start promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive 5 minutes early (or 15 minutes early if you are setting up your own machine)
